oh and alot of people think im talking about the drain tube from the bowl but it is another breather on top of the carb it is a mikuni 33 mm bsr carb and right now i have the line run up into the storage compartment where all the wires are so maybe it will work unless water and mud get in there

You did the right thing by running it up.If you have some more hose, make it a little longer and put a loop in it.That will put an air pocket in the hose and will save you if you by chance go that deep or roll it under water. If you plan on playing in deep water or mud then I suggest running all your breather lines from your carb up to the handle bar pod

awesome man thank you i was thinking of that but that is a lot of work to get it up there i would think.. is this a common problem or is it just that model carb that has that breather line also this might sound stupoid but will the gas fumes being next to the wires hurt anything

well i drive mines in the mud alot so my vent line sucked up alot of crap. so i have to open my carb and clean it and i even put a small valve cover breather on the line even though i already put it under the seat.

The hose they are talking about is a breather line coming from the side of the carb.It will be about a 1/4in hose running up.The hose that goes from side to side is a breather line for the vacum slide.

The breather line should be on the left side of the carb also.

so far....ok

Ever since your post..i took my line and ran it into the air box..no problems...no drowning out or anything like that,but..I havent took it on the moto x trac like last time either..seems like that would have been the problem ( the float getting stuck)...b/c the last time it happened i went over the quick bumps on the track..the ^^^^^^^^^..almost half way it shook the wolvie so bad..it spuddered.
