94 sportsman elec start

Hi all. i have a 94 sportsman 400 4x4. I can pull start it but the electric start will only work when boosted. I have changed the battery, cdi, starter, plug, cleaned all battery contacts. any idea's? It turns over very well, just not grabbing unless it's boosted. Any idea's?

If it will only work when you jump it off then it is loosing power between your battery and your starter somewhere.If you have a volt meter check the voltage at the starter when you try and crank it without jumping it off.Then check it while jumping it off,if there is a diff in voltage then you should be able to trace it down after that.Just keep checking your voltage to see where your drop is.
