Brake question????

I think I figured out why my Kodiak is eating rear brakes. It appears that the rear caliper is not releasing, therefore the rear brakes are always applied somewhat. The question is what causes this and is there something I can do to fix it other than replacing the caliper?

Take you caliper off and clean it very good.More than likely it has mud and buildup in it and the pistons wont release.Crack the bleeder valve open a little bit and that will help compress the pistons back into place also.
