Honda 250 recon

My buddy has a 04 250 Honda Recon and is having some front brake trouble. This weekend we adjusted them just like the manual said with no success. I looked at the pads and they are not heavily worn or anything. He doesn't ride it all the time. When you pull on the lever you get nothing hardly and the lever doesn't feel very firm. I think the brake fluid was a little low, could that be the problem, and if so, will we need to bleed the brakes if the fluid is the prob?

Yeah, refill the brake fluid and bleed the brakes. Its very possible the lines got some air in there.Just letting you know ahead of time, this can be a pain in the ass to bleed those little brake lines,so just take your time and make sure you get it all out
