carb trouble prevention

every atv that i've looked at does not have a fuel filter most have a mesh screen, so why not place a cheap paper fuel filter in the fuel line before the carb, maybe this will help keep the carb from clogging up every few months

I put a K&N fuel filter in all my bikes just for that reason

Well HELL... never thought of that.

A plain ole in-line lawnmower fuel filter would probly work.
