Question 1998 yamaha 350 warrior help please

ok i really need help with this one i have a 1998 yamaha 350 warrior and it is a great quead and runs great. well it did any till a couple days ago when it started to only run an idle and when you rev it up it really runs like shit and i had thought that it was the carb so i cleaned it up really good and it still dose it so i took the carb off a other warrior which ran fine and it still when i rev it up run like shit. but the strange thing is when i turn the handle bars to the left it will rev as high as i want it to so i really dont know what the problem is so if any one could help me i would like it.

Don't know if it will help but, it kinda sounds like you have a short in one of the lines to the rev limiter. I know that if the parking break is on, so is the rev limiter. Might want to track down some wire and see if one might be bare or shorted. Hope you get it fixed Pac

it coud be your rev limiter (cbi box) or your coil could be junk and/or check all the wires near the cdi box, coil ext. hope you fix it!

thanx the problem was the park brake rev limiter and i had total over looked that thanx
