04 Rancher AT

I recently purchased an 04 Rancher AT. It is in mint shape with only 201 miles on it. I have added a set of ITP tires and wheels. I would like to know what I could do to add some power to it. I do not want to change the exhaust or at least do not want to make it any louder. I like it quiet. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas.

The main thing to do is the exhaust. There are alot of choices for exhaust systems out now with quite cores that do work very well. You can add a jet kit with an air filter but that wont make much of a difference. It will just give you a little better throttle response.Other than that the only other choices would be to go in the motor and do some internal mods, but an exhaust would be required to get full affect of the mods.Try a jet kit with a K&N air filter and go from there.

Check out some of these previous threads regarding gaining more power.
Of course these are general "adding power" threads for different bikes, but they might be able to help you out
