Need help with my kid's atv

My kid has an United Motors Moontrax 90 since last christmas. The owner's manual suggests to remove the air intake restrictor plate to gain more power. I can't locate it. Any suggestions?

I may be suggesting something that you already checked but did you look in between the carb and the head????

Already did that. I just found the intake manifold and the reed valves attached to it. What confuses me is that the owner's manual suggests to remove it, but there isn't any diagram nor photo to guide you. Thanks anyway.

I checked the places you suggested, but no luck at all. Thanks for your help. I'll be looking forward for more info.
