2005 grizzly 660 overheating?

My 2005 yamaha grizzly 660 overheats when I run it slow like when I am pulling a mower or a disc. and even when I am trail ridding slow like in a swamp. water is good, radiator is clean inside and out. does any one know the cause of the problem? or even have an idea?

also I was wondering if the carb could be adjusted without getting different jets, because it is running too lean ( that may be part of the overheating problem)

mine used to over heats on a hot day, well alot of the guys I run with gets hot, we usually run with the side shields off to let the heat out, it's hot on the right side by the exhaust but it's gotta be better on the motor letting the heat out. That's the best way we found. 660 grizzly's are notorious for running warm

If you will run Engine Ice or any type of high performance coolant it will help out alot. I run Engine Ice in mine and it helped, also it cut my fan time back about 30% to 35% due to the EI cools down quicker than other coolants.
