Are there different stages of carb re-jet kits or is there just one stage. also what brand have you guys had the most success with? also thinking k&n filter, any opinions. and finally what type of exhaust tip does everyone recommend. looking to get all the hp out of it i can. all comments are appreciated

NO K & N FILTER, PLEASE. I WORK FOR YAMAHA AND HAVE SEEN TO MANY COME IN TO GET TEH CARBS CLEAN AND LET TOO MUCH DIRT AND DUST IN TO THE MOTOR. GET A UNI FILTER THEY ARE VERY GOOD.

I agree with 660 about the K&N filters.I suggest a uni foam filter also.As far as I have heard about there is just one jet kit for them, well one stage. As far as exhaust, there are some that make more power than others but make more noise at the same time.HMF will be the loudest and prob Supertrapp being the quitest

thanks for the input, does anyone know how much a UNI filter costs? Does it just slip over the existing cage my factory foam filter is on? For the exhaust I'm looking for power, but I could see the extra noise being a pain in the rear. What brand do yall recommend.

go to bertsdirtworks.com you can check prices there may not be the cheapest but cheaper than the dealer. your bike should have a foam type filter in it now but cleaning it never hurts.
