Gorilla winch? Worth my $$ or junk?

Figured I'd come here and ask you guys if you know anything about these. Hubby has an 07 Arctic Cat 400 and he's thinking about putting on a winch. I've looked at the Warns but I swear I can't afford that. This is of course in Ebay.... here is what it says about it.

Opinions please!

I hear a lot of good things about them. I bought a Viper winch off of Ebay I was not happy with, every time I used it the cable would wrap around the winch and get jammed up. But it looks like the cable may have simply been to stiff, I switched to the synthetic winch line and it worked great this last weekend. I would highly recommend spending the extra $50 for the synthetic line, it's lighter, just as strong and no burrs to cut you up.

Xtreme, Venom, and Gorilla are all great winches. Well worth your money.

I would try to get a 2500 or 3000lb. Max for the 400 Cat. That 3500 is overkill and a battery drainer.

I love my gorilla.

I have a lot of friends with them and they work fine. Like stated above though, 3500 is a little big for a 400 IMO.

Thanks guys! You've been a LOT of help. That one was the first one listed that I saw and didn't know the brand. I've since found where that same person (dealer) has others, and I'm looking at now going with one that is only 3000 lb. but says "waterproof". AND it's under $100!

I'm probaly going to buy me a Venom 2500 or 3000lb. in hte nest month or two for the KQ.
