Best bang for the buck Mods. Im not exactly a die hard yet but I am looking to boost the perfomance of my quad. I not sure where to start. I know when I use to race street cars there were mods you could do you self without actually spending any money ( I'm not scared to spend money but would like to do it one step at a time) I know with the cars I have messed with there were modifications you could do to the air intake box to increase flow. Is this the case with quads. I would imagine you would run into some jetting issues but thats why I am asking. Thanks again!

The most tuneabale ignotion out right now for the brute is the VDI Copperhead. You can change timing curves on it with a computer to however you like. The cost for one is around $350,but worth it to me.I have had 2 on a couple of my brutes.I ran one so I could change the timing curves for my nitrous sytem,it would retard the timing when I hit the button.

IMO the best exhaust is the Muzzy full system, they have the best sound and quality fit but it comes with a price also, around $500 for the system. You can get a HMF slip on for around $250 and it will make a diff also, just not like the Muzzy. The HMF is also very loud, you can get a quit core insert for them but they are still loud pipes.

If you do any of the above you will have to rejet which on a brute can be aggrevating cause of how the carbs are mounted.Dyno Jet makes a kit with good instructions and will get you very close to be right on your jetting.

Depending on what kind of conditions you ride in depends on what filter I would run.If its very dusty and dry conditions then I would run the Twin Air,if it mostly mud and water the K&N which is what I run,but I mostly play in the mud.
