rev limiter

im new to this site, im 16 so any advice yall can give me for my questions would be apriciated

how long will a fourwheeler run while bumping the rev limiter, ive got a trx300ex, when im in 5th on a dirt road and open it up i hit a flat spot in the rpms, im not redlined but im about 500-1000rpm from hitting the rev limiter.

im wondering if im in any danger of blowing the motor or over heating, any answers are welcome

higher rpms for extened time will put more stress on any motor. as far as going down the road get up to speed and 3/4 throttle is were i would run, might loose a couple mph's but it will be better on the motor

Run without doing any stunts for your first 6 months or so.
When your totally confortable with you machine, Than start
to push it and see how it feels as you get comfortable what
you are doing. Remember, speed kills. Be careful and don't
push your machine beyond your capabilities.
Ride safe and remember that other riders are in the
area. Don't throw stones and do burnouts in the loading
area. People may be haveing lunch or just trying to relax.
Knowbody wants to eat your dust for lunch or drink it.
Ride safe and good luck

yea, ive been riding since i was little so im pretty experianced. and ive had this trx for about 4 years so im comfterble controling it and riding at high speeds.
i ride in a real rural area so i dont really have to worry to much about cars and people.

but i thought all my neighbors like seeing a big cloud of dust fly down the dirt road and cover there yard, lol

about the fourwheeler, so i should be ok at about 3/4 throttel? what if its an extended period of time.
