2004 POLARIS 700 TWIN
I HAVE 2004 700 SPORTSMAN THAT I LEFT IDLE A COUPLE OF MONTHS.WENT TO START IT, DEAD! NO DISPLAY NADA.PUT NEW BATTERY IN,STILL DEAD.NEED SOME IDEAS TO GET THIS BABY RUNNING.LIMITED MECHANICAL SKILLS.

I almost tore apart my 05 sportsman on the ice because I got nothing when I turned the key. Turns out I did not have the red switch on the handle bars on.
Not trying to be a smart a$$, just telling what I did.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE,NEVER THOUGHT TO LOOK.I HOPE ITS THAT EASY ALSO HOPE I CAN PUT THE RIPPING APART I DID BACK TOGETHER!

FISHERNUT,
YOU WERE RIGHT,RED SWITCH WAS IN THE CENTER BUT SLIGHTLY OFF SO IT WASN'T CLICKED IN.I ALWAYS LEAVE IT ON SO I DIDN'T CHECK IT.WELL I HAVE AN EXTRA BATTERY NOW.THANKS FOR THE TIP.
