need help with my 87 cyclone 250x

It was running fine but 1 day i was screaming down the trail and went over a little hill got a little air and when i landed it died.Fuel started pooring out the carb.So i tapped the bowl with a stick and it stoped leaking. But would not start. It is now getting plenty of fuel and it is timed right and has 95psi of compression but wont even fire.I have drained carb and cleaned everything in it and still nothing. It has blue spark.Any ideas?

Sounds like you may need a carb rebuild. Try squirting a small amount of gas straight into the carb and see if it fires.

Break it down into the four things you have to have to work, air, fuel, spark and compression and rule out one and move to the next.

Yea thats what i am trying to do.I run my sleds with 95 psi compression but do you think that is enough for this 4 wheeler?Because it is single cylinder so it probly needs more compression dont it?And yes i have tryed spraying fuel in the cylinder...got no response from it at all.

You'll have to check the specs on it, but even if it's low that would be enough for it to start. So gas is not the issue and you say you are getting spark so that rules that out. How does the plug look? I know this may sound silly but make sure your kill switch isn't on.

The only other thing I can come up with is timing. If you have gas, air, compression and spark the only other thing is when it's sparking. It's a two stroke right? In which case you could have a broken reed valve.

She is a 2 stroke but it does not have reeds. And i checked the fly wheel key and it is not broke. So timing should be fine.Because it was running fine 1 day and didnt run the next.
