Question 2007 Rhino 660 hard to start

After having my Rhino 660 sport for a year now, I finally got tired of it starting hard (have to crank for 10-20 seconds) dealer stated it was common. Found a blog that indicated that the idle screw was set at the factory for 3/4 turn and was very lean for emissions sake. The blog stated 2-3 turns from full closed, I ended up at 1.5 total for a first time try.

Has anyone else had this issue? I took the carb off of its rubber boots, rotated it 180 degrees to find the brass plug that covers up the fuel idle screw (its the one that is closest to the motor and the only one that has the port bleeding into the motor with the throttle plate closed) drilled it out and adjusted it 3/4 more than stock.

Amazed at how it starts now cold and warm (engine temp)!

Just curious if anyone else has done something like this and what their results were.

Not impressed with how the dealer wanted to do, (nothing)

Thanks,

Doogie
