| gorilla winch return issues i used my 2000lb gorilla on flat ground just pulling my foreman 500 to tighten up the cable onto the drum, the winch couldnt even pull it,so i attempted this a second time with a snatch block,it pulled but half way thru it shut off,the contactor died,so i contacted gorilla and they want to replace the contact,i insisted that i send this wimpy 2000lb xt back and i want to purchase the 3000lbxt,cause all my friends have those and they pull great.anyway my concern is that i read the return policy and it states that they will refund all but 30% on returned products unless its used,if its used they will only refund50%,how is it that they sold me crap.....so if i return there winch that doesnt work......i have to pay half of it?has anyone here returned there winch for a refund,if so how much did you get back?i bought this winch stright from gorilla. | | | | Jun 27th, 08, 05:49 AM | | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Shreveport, La.

763-545-8511 call this guy..
i am having problems as well, and have been PM'd on three other sites that i am on, from people that are having problems from the get go like we are....
i am going to give mine one more shot and if i have the least bit of a problem it is going back, and i will buy a warn. then i will stand on my soap box on every atv, and off road forum showing the pics, and telling the story how this gorilla went ballistic over a winch that wouldn't perform. | | | | Jun 27th, 08, 08:22 AM | | Hi! | That is the great think about message boards. It gives you a voice that you otherwise might not have to talk good and bad about things.
I wonder just how many are having issues like this with these winches? | | | | Jun 27th, 08, 08:53 AM | | Super Moderator STAFF Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Crossville,TN

| Before going ballistic give them a chance to fix the problem. I don't have personal experience with them but I hear they have great customer service. | | | | Jun 27th, 08, 06:48 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2008
