f15ejedi Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 2	I recently bought a 96 King Quad for $500 bucks. It's blowing a little smoke or burnig oil and I wondered are there some simple things to check or should I go straight to the rings and cylinder replacement?

He just keeps a eye on his oil level and adds a little when necessary. He says he just does not have to add that much oil enough time to be worth a rebuild as of yet. This has been his system for a few years now.

Does it only smoke when you first crank it up or does it smoke even after it gets warmed up?
