sportsman 90 stalling

hello all,
got jr a 2001 sportsman 90 and it starts and idles fine. try to add throttle and loads up stalls out even when applied very slowly.rode it myself when I tried it out and rode it for a few minute when i got it home then slowly loaded up and quit. no air cleaner blockage,new correct # plug and fresh fuel.no fuel coming out of carb drain tube. coil ?? thanks to anyone who knows !

If no fuel is coming out of your drain then your carb is empty.If the bike has been sitting for awhile then your needle and seat could be stuck.Try and take a screwdriver and tap on the side of the carb bowl.Dont hit to hard though.

Also is this a 2 stroke or 4 stroke bike?

I checked the float bowl drain and I had water in my fuel...
drained out the entire fuel system & changed the fuel filter. runs like a top ! Thanks for reminding basics first ...
