For off road beginners to hard-core. Enjoy family picnics, beautiful scenery and wheelin' adventures all in one place!

All ATVs, dirt bikes and short-wheelbased SUVs welcome.
(A short wheel-based vehicle is defined as those that are 115" or less.)

The main park has grown from 400 acres to 700 acres of great-wheelin' terrain! A great place to test your four wheel drive skills.

700 ACRES of trail riding open to ATVs - Dirtbikes - Jeeps - SUVs. This 700 acres has trail areas for all that visit the park.

900 MORE ACRES to provide scheduled group-guided trail riding for SUVs, Jeeps, etc. This new acreage is just for guided SUV/Jeep trail rides by appointment only. Trails on these areas are Mild-Medium and Hard-core. This service only to Groups of 5 or more vehicles and it must be By Appointment Only.

(Total PARK IS NOW OVER 1600 ACRES!)

Location:
2 MILES NORTH OF JCT HWY 54 AND 96
JUST OUTSIDE OF ROCKPORT, ILLINOIS
IN BEAUTIFUL PIKE COUNTY.

No More ATVs!

I believe I read on their website in 2007 the park is closed to ATVs, per their website:

"ATVs and Dirtbikes will no longer be allowed at Rockport Off-Road Park's sites. Vehicles allowed are Jeeps/Trucks/SUVs and Rhino/Ranger/Mule-type vehicles with roll cages and Trials Bikes."

Rockport Off Road Park and Hannibal Rocks Off-Road Vehicle Wheeling

bummer!

Yes, they no longer own the land in Rockport, IL. They purchased the land over in Hannibal, but it is an old rock quarry and mostly rock crawling for Jeeps & buggies, with a few trails. So, it wasn't appropriate for ATV's.
