| Riding area contains approximately 70 miles of trails. Trails consist of deep ravines, and steep hills. For more information, including park rules visit the website or call (573) 443-5315 / 1-800-334-6946. | Went to this area just before winter set in 2006. After hard rains the day before and about 45 degrees or so. The wet ground made for some fun areas. I would not suggest getting to far into riding here on a 2x4 unless you have a winch on board someones atv. Some rather deep mud holes snuck up on us--hahaha too much fun for some. We encountered a mudslide meaning we slide down the mud made me remember waterparks. Some trails are marked some are not. A large camping area also in the park. Extremely friendly staff too. Another great Missouri location. | | | | Feb 14th, 07, 07:17 PM | | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: northern missouri

| There are other places to ride in missouri that aren't state parks that allow you to carry your cooler and pull over to enjoy a cold beer. One such place is called The Farm, it's owned by a retired guy who owns 400-500 acres and allows trucks, atvs ect to tear things up, camping is availible too. It's located in Kirksville Mo north of finger lakes. State parks are fun but there are so many rules and laws to fallow, takes some of the fun out it for me. | | | | Mar 22nd, 07, 01:19 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Wentzville, Missouri

| Here's the problem with Finger Lakes, miles and miles of this. See pics. Well it can be fun at times but for nice, fast trail riding or with kids or novice riders, it really gets old. Riding here on 2 wheels can be brutal, but I like the challenge some times. Just be warned, rutz rule Finger Lakes!

| Not sure if anyone is checking this forum but a friend and I are headed to Finger tomorrow for some change of scenery. Didn't know if anyone was heading that way. Any tips or cautions? Thanks | | | | |
